Salsaretta was left to come home an easy winner after the departure of Tintangle in the Charleville EBF Mares Novice Chase at Limerick this afternoon.
Willie Mullins' charge was sent to post a 2/5 shot in the Grade 2 contest to maintain her unbeaten record over fences.
She still had to get to Tintangle jumping the second last though when the front-runner knuckled over on landing and unshipped Luke Dempsey.
Salsaretta was presented with a clear lead and Paul Townend didn't need to ask his mount too many questions in the closing stages to record an eased down 11 length success.
The 102-rated 50/1 shot Ask Mary stayed on to take second and earn valuable black-type.
Townend reported afterwards:- "We got the rub of the green again and I know I didn't have to do anything from then (the second last) home but I stayed going better than I was probably going to.
“There would definitely have been a race of it and it could have been down to a good jump after that.”
