Salesin follows up Wexford win
The Niall Maddens were on the mark at Cork today, winning the Friday Evening Racing At Cork Racecourse Handicap Hurdle with a game performance from their Salesin
The son of Lomitas made virtually all but was joined from two out by eventual runner-up Glam Gerry Salesin, to his credit, battled gamely under an inspired ride from Madden Jnr (aka Slippers), producing a great leap at the final flight before recording a three lengths win.
Afterwards Madden Snr (Boots), stated “Salesin is game out and while I thought the run would come a bit soon after his Wexford win, we had to come here for today’s pot.”
“We’ll mix it between handicap hurdles and chases with him during the summer – the ground staff did a great job watering the track here too.”
