Sales bound Road gains a Victory
Road To Victory showed up well at Navan ten days ago when doing his best work at the finish to take seventh place and he came forward sufficiently to cause a 12/1 surprise in the www.racinghomeforeaster.com Handicap at Cork.
Billy Lee did the steering on Charles O'Brien's bottom-weight and he got up in the closing stages, edging out Trotting Weasel by a head. There was just a short head and a neck back to One Of Three the favourite and Withnail
Gerry Abbot, representing O'Brien, said of the Painestown Syndicate's four-year-old: "Billy said he'd win another one. He is set for the sales in Newmarket though so that's the road he'll be going."
