Dontspoilasale made a winning start in handicap company when landing the ARKequine ACME Nursery at Naas for trainer Natalia Lupini.
The Kuroshio colt had shaped with promise in three maiden runs, most recently when third at Fairyhouse last month.
He went to post 5/2 joint favourite in the five furlong contest and jumped out to dispute things this afternoon under Wayne Lordan.
Dontspoilasale got the better of fellow front-runner Sioux Sweet inside the final furlong to secure a length-and-three-quarters win.
“He's a nice little horse, he's straightforward, tough and genuine,” said Lupini.
“We thought he would run well and we're delighted. The syndicate are all local to the yard and it's lovely for them to have a winner, they're delighted.
“Hopefully he can improve off that and we'll see what the handicapper does. We would love to come back here later in the year for the Birdcatcher.
“We'll keep an eye on the ground, he wouldn't want extremes. Wayne said he'd have no bother over five or six.”
