Regal Obligation from the Tom Hogan stable came home in front of the Heart Of Down Ulster Cesarewitch (Q.R) Handicap by a cosy 10 lengths in the hands of Pauline Ryan.

Ryan sent her mount to the front from over 7f out and the pair never looked in danger as they shot clear from over 3f out for a comfortable win.

Winning jockey Ryan said afterwards: “The plan was to try and make all but Philip Rothwell’s horse Games was very keen early. That was my first winner here and I’m delighted.”
