Russell passed fit to ride
Davy Russell has been passed fit to take his mounts at Gowran Park today following a heavy fall at Thurles yesterday.
Russell took a nasty looking tumble from Mossbank in the Kinloch Brae Chase on Thursday and suffered some soft tissue damage to his lower back.
He gave up his remaining mounts yesterday but was checked out before racing today and was given the all-clear to return to action.
Gigginstown House Stud's retained rider has a strong book of rides today, including Siegemaster in the featured Thyestes Chase and Tharawaat in the novice chase.
