Russell on the double
Jockey Davy Russell completed a double on his return to action at Cork today, competing a double on Keys Pride in the Coolagown Stud EBF Mares Chase.
Keys Pride raced in mid-division, before closing on his rivals in the straight, eventually getting to the front at the final fence before scoring a length and three parts success over Shan Brogeen
Winning trainer Stephen Ryan later reported "Keys Pride is by far the best I train and Galway is now the plan for her."
He added, "I left her off for the winter and she is like a light switch in that she comes alive in May! Davy (Russell) is now three wins from three rides on her."rides on her."
