Russell & Gigginstown double up
Davy Russell, along with his retained owner Gigginstown House Stud, completed a double on Beautiful Sound in the Tote Trifecta Rollover Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse today, moving him within six winners of Jockeys Championship Leader Andrew McNamara.
Beautiful Sound’s trainer Gordon Elliott subsequently stated “he was jumping so well that Davy left him get on with it in front – he wandered a little before the final fence but was never going to get beaten. We’ll go for another handicap again next.
