Run For Sol runs away with it
Run For Sol and Davy Russell combined well for favourite backers when landing the two mile four furlong hurdle at Sligo by five and a half lengths at even money from Skip Two Maid From Milan cut out the pace but Run For Sol picked it up before two out and put the race to bed. Skip Two stayed on to pip Maid From Milan for second.
Successful trainer Charles Byrnes said: "This horse came out of the same yard in Belgium as Solwhit and is owned by the same syndicate as Solwhit (Top Of The Hill Syndicate).
"She ran well last time at Limerick and the ground probably suited her today.
"She's a great jumper even though she is only small and she may jump fences."
