Ruby completes Fairyhouse double
Ruby Walsh completed a double at Fairyhouse today when The Corby Glenn s win in the Bobbyjo Bistro Handicap Chase added to an earlier success on Hellyhunter
Walsh raced the son of Broken Hearted in mid-division before producing the gelding to lead before two out, eventually recording a ten lengths win.
Afterwards The Corby Glenn's trainer Ray McGlinchey stated “that is only The Corby Glenn's second run for me but I deserve only a fraction of the praise as the horse was sent to me following his former trainer Barry Potts' decision to give up training - he sent the horse to me in great shape after Christmas.”
The Corby Glenn was carrying the colours of Ultan McGranaghan but previously carried the colours of his father Jim, who passed away last week.
