The Paul Deegan trained Hallo Rosie gained a maiden win from the basement flat rating when battling gamely to win the Follow Sligo Races On Facebook Handicap at Sligo today, under Chris Hayes.
The 47 rated daughter of Alhaarth rallied well in the closing stages to get the better of a protracted duel with Uncharted Waters
Deegan wasn't present but Hayes later stated “she is genuine but wasn't not mad about the ground. It was guts that got her to the line as she didn't enjoy it and she should win again.”
Paul (Deegan) told me to keep it uncomplicated as she likes to jump and stride.”
