Rose Hip takes Nijinsky Stakes
Chris Hayes completed a double when winning the Nijinsky Stakes Listed Race aboard the Joe Murphy trained Rose Hip
Hayes who settled his mount in rear made his headway to join the leaders two furlong out.
The pair kept on strongly to lead inside the final furlong and score by a convincing length and a half.
Winning trainer Murphy said afterwards: “She’s in very good, we have her in the Pretty Polly Stakes it might be a step too far for her but on that win she’s entitled to take her chance.”
“She’s five pounds better here than anywhere else.”
Hayes was on the mark earlier when Money Trader came home in front of the Foxrock Handicap.
