On handicap debut, Romantic Proposal went off the 5/1 second favourite, with the one she beat on September 1st, Lovee Dovee, franking the form in good style at the Curragh on Saturday.
Supported in from an opening show of 6/1 on track, three-year-old Raven’s Pass filly Romantic Proposal raced in the mid-division towards the outer.
Ridden by Wayne Lordan for Clipper Logistics Group Ltd and Eddie Lynam, the progressive sort made progress in fifth two furlongs out.
Ridden to lead a furlong out, Romantic Proposal kept on strongly in the final furlong to account for 20/1 chances, Katiymann and The Broghie Man by two and a half lengths and half a length.
"She obviously enjoys the track and it is a lovely track to ride on. She skips down it and she won nicely the last day and only had 8st4lbs on her back today and won well," reasoned Lordan.
"She is a fine big filly and hopefully she is on the up."
