It all came together for Timi Roli at his fifth attempt over jumps when the French bred justified 13/8 favouritism in the Buy Online @TipperaryRaces Maiden Hurdle.
With The Major General flopping it was looking good for the Ruby Walsh-ridden Timi Roli from some way out as he dictated to his rivals up front.
Willie Mullins' charge may have got the second last flight wrong but it made little difference as he came home with eleven lengths to spare over 66/1 shot An'Ball (decent start to his career).
"The experience was a huge help and it is a big addition in the summer tracks. He jumped like a buck," said Walsh in the Hurricane Fly colours of winning owner George Creighton.
"He was second over this trip (2m4f) at Ballinrobe the last day but I'd say he is versatile and I loved the way he jumped today. I'd imagine whatever he wins this summer he'll win a few chases next summer."
C.A. Landers, rider of Unrequited trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.
