Rocket Science brought up plenty of bets with a clear-cut victory in the Caulfield Industrial Irish EBF Maiden at Galway.
The three-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock was backed from 7/1 throughout the day and went off 3/1 for this seven-furlong contest.
Shane Foley, who leads the Irish flat jockeys' title race, raced her behind the leaders before she closed approaching the home turn.
She got the measure of War Leader turning in, and was ridden inside the final furlong to go and win her race.
Jessica Harrington 's filly was strongest in the final 100 yards as she quickened right away to score by three lengths. Teed Up the 7/4 favourite, couldn't land a blow on the winner in second. He was half a length in front of Tuned For Power who was backed at fancy prices down to 18/1.
Assistant trainer Kate Harrington said: “She’s one that might stay in training as a four-year-old.
“There’s not much of her but she tries hard.”
