Rock Diplomat back to winning ways
Rock Diplomat got back to his winning ways after he landed the Royal County Handicap Chase for trainer Michael Cunningham.
Robert 'Puppy' Power settled his mount in behind the leaders and made progress to track the leader Lydon House approaching the straight.
Power had to work hard aboard the Oscar gelding to lead just the before the last but the pair stayed on well to record a four length win over Lydon House.
Winning trainer Cunningham stated: "The ground is the secret with him. He won a hurdle race on practically unraceable ground in Naas a while back."
"He's just one paced, he needs the ground to be slow. He just runs out of puff on the fast ground."
