Robyndeglory (8/13f) was tough off the front in the opening mares' maiden hurdle in Killarney.
Jockey Declan Queally sent on her on in this two mile one contest but the pair were there to be shot at after the second last.
She was tackled by Miss Kinsella and Pepperocco with Lighthouse Lady just behind. Queally got into the drive position and his partner and found extra before the last.
Once she cleared it, she ran on well to put a length and three parts between herself and Lighthouse Lady who was backed from 40/1 in the morning down to 8/1.
Jockey Queally said: "She was probably never going to get beaten to be fair, but she'd want further. She wants 2m6f but this was a grand opportunity. She is lairy and would have been better with a lead.
"As soon as I pass a fitness test, in ten days time, I'll be turning professional."
