Dylan Robinson partnered his second winner when giving Confident Cub a positive ride to claim the apprentice handicap at Naas.
The 18-year-old, from Waterford, produced his mount to challenge at the two furlong marker and he soon kicked on.
Robinson was strong on the gelding in the closing stages as he kept going to record a length-and-three-quarters victory over Stoichkhov
The winner had been placed at Dundalk recently but also showed an ability to handle testing conditions last season.
Trainer Jim Bolger said about the winning rider afterwards:- “He's been with me two years and gave it a good ride."
