Road To Dubai took advantage of the withdrawal of two of his challengers, notably morning-favourite Premium Package, when justifying 4/11 favouritism to win the BarOneRacing.com Online Loyalty Club Hurdle at Navan today.
Drying ground throughout the afternoon resulted in the withdrawal of both odds-on favourite Premium Package (at 1.45pm) and Samurai Cracker (1.26pm) and in the race Road To Dubai, under Jack Kennedy, comfortably had the measure of his three rivals, with Fountainbleau chasing him home in 12 lengths second.
Following the race winning trainer Gordon Elliott's assistant Ian Amond reported “it was a straight-forward. He was entitled to win and got the job done.
“Hopefully there will be another day somewhere for him. He ran okay on the Flat a couple of weeks ago and there might be something coming up for him there. We'll mix it a bit with him.
“It's nice for the owners Brendan and Angela Scully who are great supporters of the yard.”
