Easy-to-back at 9/2 Make My Heart Fly took the Midland Breeders Supporting Kilbeggan Beginners Chase, benefitting from the departure of Paris Texas at the last.
Paris Texas was attempting to give Joseph O’Brien a double after his win in the previous heat with Ellipsism
The Carriganog Racing representative was upsides with every chance when getting the final fence wrong and depositing Niall Madden on the turf.
From there Make My Heart Fly went on to register a four and three parts of a length win for Gordon Elliott and Andrew Ring.
“I ride out in Gordon’s one day a week, and any spare rides you pick up for the yard are always good ones," said Ring.
“She had the highest hurdle form in the race but was struggling to win. She jumped well which makes a big difference, and is an honest mare.”
