Rhythm makes it 54321
Sweet Rhythm got off the mark to complete her sequence of form figures, 54321, in the six-furlong fillies maiden at Dundalk.
Jimmy Coogan 's progressive daughter of Acclamation had finished runner-up on her last visit to the track earlier this month and made a deserved break through tonight.
Sam James produced his mount at the furlong pole and the 9/2 shot stayed on well in the closing stages to score by half a length from Dazzle Them 0A10/3 favourite Judies Child had been prominent throughout but faded after giving way at the furlong marker.
Coogan admitted he had been worried about his charge's wide draw in 14:-
"From where she was drawn I thought she had no chance but Sam got her across well.
"I thought six furlongs might be a bit short for her as she's been running over seven and a mile but she shows pace at home. She'll probably come back here."
