No Pressure Pat credited jockey Cillin Leonard with his second career win at Tipperary today, landing the Tipperary Races On Twitter Handicap Hurdle for his trainer and namesake Pat Fahy.
Leonard, who is based with Fahy and partnered his first winner for the trainer at Thurles last March, sent the eight year old clear of his rivals approaching the last and from there scored a four and a half lengths win over Lockeen Girl
Afterwards Fahy revealed "I bought him off Martin Cullinane when he was injured and I took a chance with him and all my buddies (Havin' The Craic Syndicate) bought him. That's how he got his name as they were saying 'there's no pressure on you now!'."
"I ran him in a bumper first-time out and I thought he would have known his job but he was a disgrace in Thurles and was was very green on his first run back.
"I never bring him away to work him because his legs aren't the best and we did as much as we could with him at home. He's a full brother to Tully East and you can't beat breeding.
"It was his first time at three miles today and he just loved that ground. I hope he stays sound now and we'll have more craic with him.
"Cillian is with me a year, that's his second winner for me and he is riding with much more confidence now."
