Reigles (5/1) was ridden to get the better of Pure Circle in the closing stages of the Tara Stud Nursery Handicap at Bellewstown.
The grey filly travelled in an ideal spot in third and was switched out and driven by Cian MacRedmond to challenge at the furlong pole.
She picked up well to soon challenge Pure Circle and had her measure as they approached the winning post.
The daughter of Havana Grey hit the line half a length up on the 13/8 favourite with Malacanne back in a never-dangerous third at 9/2.
Trainer Ado McGuinness said: “He gave her a good ride and the draw (stall one) was key there. He got stopped turning in and the other horse went on but he didn’t find a massive amount which was great!
“We were getting plenty of weight but it’s great to get a win and she’ll probably end up in the sales somewhere. She’s be a fun filly for someone.
“They (Kabin Racing Syndicate) have four horses with me and are a good bunch of lads.”
