Reef bags Leopardstown finale

The Michael Halford trained Sure Reef recorded his third win in his last four starts when winning the concluding Leopardstown Club Members Handicap at Leopardstown today under Shane Foley.
Afterwards Halford stated “that was a good performance – Shane said it rode like a very good race and they went a really good gallop.
“Sure Reef is a relentless galloper and physically he has done really well recently. It was a mistake to run him the second day at Galway but he is a lovely horse and will go on improving as he has loads of size and scope.
“He's in the Horses In Training Sale at Newmarket on Tuesday.”
On course reporting by Gary Carson.
