Sandra Hughes, successful earlier in the day with Back Before Dawn at Thurles, completed an across the card double when Total Recall landed the Prancer And Dancer Rated Novice Chase at Navan.
Roger Loughran had the seven-year-old gelding up with the pace throughout, and challenged early in the straight.
The 9/2 chance got the better of Crest after two out, and was kept up to his work to beat that rival by seven lengths.
There was a further gap of 18 lengths back to Not For Burning in third, with 4/1 favourite Marchese Marconi in fourth.
Loughran said, “I’d two good jumps that got me to the front a bit sooner than I wanted. He’s a good tough sort, and I knew he’d put the race to bed when I jumped the last.”
