There was a third Gordon Elliott-trained winner on the day when Rapid Escape landed the concluding Festival Ticket Offer Now On (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race. Jury Duty had won earlier on this card at Punchestown under Robbie Power for the Cullentra House handler.
At Cork meanwhile Doctor Phoenix did the job in the valuable handicap chase in the hands of Jack Kennedy.
Here odds on favourite Rapid Escape convincingly accounted for The Holy One by four lengths.
“He's a real nice horse and we like him a lot,” said Elliott.
“He's a horse that we'll mind till next year. He'll probably have one more run in a bumper and that'll be it.”
When asked if Cheltenham could be considered:- “No definitely not. We'd be looking at a bumper in February or March time, somewhere like Navan or Fairyhouse.
“We'll mind him as he's a horse for next year.”
