Rambling Rose (5/1) landed the concluding Tim Kelly Group (Mares) INH Flat Race for Toomevara trainer Stephen Ryan and Patrick Mullins.
Popular in the betting all day, the daughter of Mahler tracked The Sliding Rock as the pair approached the straight.
The winner seemed to be travelling notably well, but Jamie Codd’s mount found plenty for her rider’s urgings and made the winner work fairly hard for victory. Half a length was the margin at the line. The 15/8 favourite Walking Fame was a further seven and a half lengths away in third.
The winning trainer, Stephen Ryan, who was also on lead-up duty, remarked: "I was delighted to get Patrick and she'd been working well.
"I hadn't a winner in so long it was hard to be confident, but she's a gorgeous filly and Patrick liked her."
