Rajik wins Ballycullen Stakes
Rajik followed up on his recent win at Galway when taking the Ballycullen Listed Stakes in style under Declan McDonogh.
McDonogh hit the front over a furlong and half out and stayed on well for a cosy three length win over Silverhand
Winning trainer Swan said afterwards: “He’s a very tough horse and with a filly in the race we knew they’d go a good gallop.”
“He’s just improving and improving, it’s so hard to believe he was beaten in Wexford. We were going to enter him in the Ebor only he ran so bad at Newcastle.”
“He’ll either go for the Irish Cesarewitch or go back over hurdles.”
