Quiet Word wins again
Quiet Word from the Dessie Hughes stable followed up on his recent win at Tramore when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Hurdle under a confident ride by Bryan Cooper.
Cooper’s mount who travelled well throughout was in front from after the third last and kept on well to record a length win over Lend A Hand Son who tried in vain to catch the leader.
Winning trainer Hughes said afterwards: “He is progressing well and we’ll keep him with novice company for the moment.”
It was a fifth win of the season for Cooper who is attached to the Hughes stable.
