Quidem Meus wins Ballinrobe opener
The opening Tote Placepot Races 1 to 6 Maiden Hurdle at Ballinrobe today was won by the Dessie Hughes trained Quidem Meus under Ian McCarthy.
The daughter of Definitive Article raced prominently throughout, improved to lead after the second last before staying on well for a four lengths win over Casco Bay
Afterwards Hughes reported “Quidem Meus appreciated the better ground and will now go for a mares' winners race – she'll stick to novice races for the time being.”
