Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins completed a quick double at Cork as Make Your Mark eased to victory in the Friday Evening Racing Hurdle (won the first with Shamar .
The six-year-old son of Beneficial was backed on-course from 5/4 to 9/10 clear favourite and he made virtually all, asserting from the second last to come home an easy two and a half length winner from Moon Dice (5/1) in second under Alan Crowe for Paul Flynn.
The Gigginstown House Stud owned gelding was recording his fourth career success this evening, having won a point-to-point, bumper and maiden hurdle previously.
Ruby Walsh said afterwards: "I know Moon Dice is rated higher than him (rated 140 compared to the winners mark of 133) but he hasn’t sparked for a while and taking the others into consideration he won as he was entitled to. He bounced off the ground."
Just five went to post for the two mile contest with both Prince Of Fire (lame) and Curvacious (ground) non-runners.
