Patrick Mullins completed a quick double when 8/13 favourite Finest Evermore cruised home in the Fermoy (Fillies) INH Flat Race.
Having her first start for Willie Mullins, she was in her comfort zone throughout and the rider was motionless as she came home five and a half lengths clear of promising newcomer April’s Moon.
A daughter of Yeats, the winner had been runner-up in a 3-y-o bumper at Exeter last October on her only start for previous handler Harry Kelly.
The winning rider, completing a quick double after winning on Pilbara half an hour earlier, said:"She is a typical Yeats being a really strong galloper; she is not flashy at home but always finishes out her work well. The strong pace today suited her.
"She isn't big and while she mightn't like winter ground, would handle any ground in the summer. I wouldn't discount her running in a flat race but she is obviously better on the track than she is at home.
"The Leinster Partnership also had Panic Attack (Market Rasen Listed Bumper winner) with us."
