Quantatmental opens jumps account for Cromwell
Quantatmental wins under Jonathan Moore

Quantatmental made the most of his light weight when opening his account over timber in the Grafton Barbers Rated Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
The three time Flat winner was making his fourth outing over jumps for Gavin Cromwell and was produced to lead at the second last.
Jonathan Moore asserted on the New Approach gelding before the final flight and despite a slight mistake there the 4/1 shot had plenty in hand to record a two-and-three-quarter length success.
Cromwell said:- “He came out of Tom Dascombe’s and I actually met him over at the Breeders Cup and we shared a taxi one morning. He said this horse needs good ground and we got it there today.
“I’ve no immediate plan but if the ground stays like this we can keep going and he could always go back on the Flat at some stage.
“Espoir d’Allen is in good form. There was a forfeit stage yesterday for the Champion Hurdle and he was left in it. There will be no decision made until we have to but he’s in good nick.”
