Punchestown gets green light

Following an inspection this morning, Punchestown is fit for racing and today's fixture goes ahead.
After 19mm of rain overnight, the ground is now yielding to soft, soft in places.
There is the possibility of a further 15-20mm (approximately) of rain up to lunchtime with winds easing throughout the morning.
The eight-race card gets under way at 11.30am.
Champion hurdler State Man makes his return to action in the Grade 1 Unibet Morgiana Hurdle at 2.10pm. Stablemate Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead are among the opposition.
