I'm All You Need vindicated the promise shown in her debut performance, and more pertinently her Clonmel effort last time, to land the opening I.N.H. Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Maiden Hurdle at Thurles.

One of the big three in the market, along with the strong-favourite, New World and the easy-to-back MacBride Mikey Fogarty had Paul Nolan's I'm All You Need chasing the pace throughout.

The Phillip Byrne-owned 7/2 shot headed the market-springer Coolbane West (20s into 14s on track) from before the last, before going on to oblige by four lengths from pace-setter, Hes Our Robin

Coolbane West eventually filled the third spot, a length and a half adrift.

New World and MacBride had to make do with moderate fourth and fifth positions.

Fogarty made the point in the aftermath that there is a nice programme of races for mares like I'm All You Need, and that in common with the majority of King's Theatre stock, this youngster enjoys the jumping game. (EM)
