The Michael Halford trained Princess Pearlita made all to win the Owens McCarthy Claims Specialists Kingdom Gold Cup Fillies Handicap at Killarney today, scoring under apprentice jockey Conor Hoban.
The daughter of Manduro improved one placing on her runner-up effort over course and distance last month and following her win, Hoban said, "there was no obvious front-runner, and I was happy to let her bowl along.
“She got it nice and handy in front and I gave her a squeeze early in the straight and she went all the way to the line. It's great to get a winner like that (E30,000 to the winner) for the boss."
