Prince Charmin' the 11/10 favourite justified his market position in the five runner Buy Tickets Online For The 6th April Spin Southwest Student Raceday Hurdle. That wasn't without giving his supporters a fright in race two at Limerick.
Tony Martin's charge threatened to let Bracklin Princess back into it when getting the last couple of flights wrong.
However the High Chaparral gelding showed his superiority to put the contest to bed on the run-in, eventually sealing the deal by three lengths.
"He was beaten by a good horse (third behind Melon at Leopardstown) that last day and he'll be a better horse on better ground and will jump better on it. It's my first winner for Tony and I ride as a freelance," reported winning rider Eamonn Corbett.
The Stewards fined A.J.Martin, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Prince Charmin, prior to entering the parade ring.
