Pat Shanahan produced a typically power packed ride on Tracey Collins ' Prince Jock to win the Ballybin Maiden at Fairyhouse today, providing the veteran jockey with his eighth winner of the season.

Shanahan, complete with a pat down the neck and along the ears for his mount at halfway, produced the son of Repent to lead a furlong out, to eventually score a half length win over So Secret

Afterwards Collins stated "his rivals were queueing up behind him but he stuck to the task well - I've no plans from here."
