The Edward O’Grady trained Prickly completed his ‘full set’ at Fairyhouse today, landing the Tickets At fairyhouse.ie Rated Novice Chase under Galway Hurdle winning jockey Stephen Gray.
The son of Definite Article was produced to challenge leader Lake Takapuna approaching the final fence and responded well under Gray, as he edged ahead in the closing stages for a length and a half success.
Afterwards O’Grady stated “he settled well and was entitled to run well on his last run (at Wexford).
“He’s had a number of procedures on his wind but has been a good servant winning three bumpers, two Flat races, a hurdle and now a chase.”
