The Jim Bolger trained Altesse gained an overdue second career win at Leopardstown today when taking the featured Listed Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Noblesse Stakes under jockey Kevin Manning.
The daughter of Hernando won a Killarney maiden on debut in 2014 but subsequently filled form figures of '223-222' in Listed and Group 3 contests.
Today Altesse was produced to challenge from the two furlong pole, moved to the front inside the final furlong for a half length win over Ballybacka Queen
Afterwards Bolger stated "I wouldn't risk her on firm ground but she goes well on all other types of ground. She's very consistent.
"She could go for the Vintage Crop Stakes over a mile and six at Navan (on May 15). The trip doesn't really matter that much as long as she gets a good pace."
