Kevin Prendergast was enjoying a great day when saddling the first two home in The Tattersalls Ireland Sale Stakes. The first home was Choose Me ridden by Chris Hayes in the colours of Mrs W Whitehead while stable companion Heart of Fire had to settle for second with Declan McDonogh in the saddle.

Kevin Prendergast commented afterwards, "That was a great result, both were working nicely at home. The other fellow got to the front a little sooner than we would have wanted. But she went better on the ground."
