Premier too classy for rivals
Premier Victory showed her rivals a clean pair of heels in the Grade 3 Novice Hurdle at Cork when making all under John Cullen.
The Tom Hogan-trained mare had her rivals in trouble at the third last and stayed on strongly for an easy 11-length victory over Last Draw
"The piece of work she got in Down Royal the last day benefitted her," quipped Hogan.
"She's a grand mare. She had a bit of an allergy when she was second at Limerick and we sorted that out. We also put a tongue-tie on in case there was any other problems.
"She's a good mare with a high cruising speed. There is a three-mile at the next meeting here and we'll probably come back for that."
