Power wins Fegentri Hurdle at Fairyhouse
Co Armagh trainer John Woods was in the winner's enclosure this afternoon after his charge Tualachsarain landed the Fegentri World Championship (Q.R) Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Paul Power.
Power produced the son of Blueprint to lead just before two out and kept on well to hold off the fast finishing Cochise and Padraig Roche by half a length.
Winning trainer Woods said afterwards: "We didn't really know if he'd handle the ground or not. He'll stay hurdling for the time being."
