Plenty of rain in Listowel

Listowel is Yielding, Yielding to Soft in places (on National Hunt course) and Soft, Soft to Heavy in places (on Flat course where fresh ground is in use) following 22mm of rain overnight.
Light rain at present, clearing later with a risk of showers tomorrow.
Fresh ground will be in use on the hurdle track tomorrow.
The first of eight Flat races is off at 1.25pm. The feature is the Listowel Printing Works Handicap at 4.20pm. Johnny Murtagh's Flying Dolphin heads the market for this €45,000 race after finishing third in the Northfields Handicap on Irish Champions Weekend.
