Pleasing Result for Lynam
The absent Eddie Lynam had good reason to be pleased with the result of the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Claiming Race as he saddled a one two courtesy of Sinsational and Icemancometh The pair dominated the market but many may have expected a different finishing order as the former was returned at 3/1 whilst Icemancometh was the 8/11 favourite.
Kilkenny native Shane Foley partnered the head victor whilst fellow ´cat´ Shane Gorey was aboard the runner-up. With claiming prices of 24,000 Euro and 30,000 Euro on their respective heads, neither horse found a new home, in fact there wasn´t a claim lodged for anything in the contest.
The Dubliner also had a winner at Downpatrick, Red Key part of a double for Chris Hayes up there.
