Pink Supporters Fill the Suitcase
On his first outing for Jim Dreaper, returning from a break, Pink Suitcase made a successful chasing bow in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Beginners Chase under the trainer's son, Tom.
Well-backed (7s into 9/2), the son of Accordion got the better of Sizing America on the run-in, prevailing by a head. Stewarts House (5/2 into 6/4), bidding to give Arthur Moore a double, could only manage third, a further four and a half lengths adrift.
Jim Dreaper said: "I must give credit to Sean McParlan, his previous trainer. He is a real old-fashioned horse. He only came to us a month ago. He stays and jumps well, he'll go further as well. He should improve from this run too."
Meanwhile stable star, Notre Pere will go for the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on February 8th if the ground is yielding or softer. (EM)
