Peticoatgovernment continued Willie McCreery's good recent run when claiming the valuable Woodlands 100 Club Handicap at Naas.
Leigh Roche tracked the leaders on the 10/1 shot before asking her to challenge two furlongs out in the six-furlong contest.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor got on top over a furlong from home and kept on strongly to post a length-and-a-quarter success over Flowerhill Nova
The winner was dropping back to six furlongs for the first time after being well held in handicap company at Dundalk over a mile and previously at the Curragh over seven.
"That's a nice little pot, and she travelled lovely. I was a bit worried when they said the ground was on the dead side but she enjoyed it there. A stiff six furlongs or an easy seven is ideal for her,” said McCreery.
"Holy Roman Emperor is a sire I love as I think every filly I've had by him has won.
“She could be another of mine to go for the fillies handicap at the Curragh on Guineas weekend." Short Stacked was sent off the well-backed 11/4 favourite (6/1 this morning) but could only finish eighth after racing centre in a group of three.
