Pesoto completes McNamara/O'Grady double
Trainer Edward O'Grady and stable jockey Andrew McNamara can do little wrong at present and both combined for a double at Limerick today, when Pesoto landed the Munster Beginners' Chase to mark both men's 33rd winners of the seasons.
Rogour Back Bob's earlier win got the O'Grady/McNamara ball rolling before Pesoto, in the colours of politician Michael Lowry, made all for an impressive 13 lengths win.
Afterwards O'Grady revealed “Pesoto has had two wind operations since he last ran and they seem to have worked. He is a very exciting prospect and may next go for a winners' of one chase at Gowran.”
