The Aidan O'Brien-trained Perotan powered clear in the closing stages to run out a cosy winner of Her Majesty's Plate on just her second run.
She was sent to post 2/1 favourite in the Listed contest, following the defections of Master Of Reality and Licence.
Wayne Lordan tucked his mount in behind the leading pair in the mile-six contest before asking her for an effort passing the two pole.
The daughter of Churchill claimed front-runner Manu Et Corde over a furlong from home and soon settled matters, going on to post a two-and-three-quarter length success over the staying on Moon Daisy
Perotan was taking a significant step up in class having won a Bellewstown maiden on her debut at the start of the month.
Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: "She didn't run last year. She had a lovely run in Bellewstown where she won and Seamus (Heffernan) gave her a lovely ride.
"She came here in good form and had come on from the run. Wayne gave her a lovely ride and she has got plenty of class. Hopefully there is good programme for her towards the second half of the season.
"Aidan and the team always held her in high regard. They gave her all the time to fill her frame. We are reaping the rewards now.
"She has a very good pedigree and the sire is on fire. We'll step her up now and let her work through the grades. We'll go from there."
The winner is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Matterhorn, Group 2 winner Bangkok and to the dam of four-time Group 1 winner Ribchester.
