Pearl takes Wexford opener
The opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Wexford this evening went to the Ger Lyons trained Music Pearl under Johnny Murtagh, which got the better of favourite Hadrian’s Waltz in the closing stages.
Lyons was represented by his brother Shane Lyons who stated “I’d delighted for Sheikh Fahad, a member of the Qatar royal family, who is involved in Pearl Bloodstock Ltd which own Music Pearl. He bought Wade Giles from us last year too.”
“Music Pearl is a genuine little filly and improved from her last run – today’s track probably suited her too.”
